La Villa Maroc existe depuis 1990. Elle a été le premier hôtel de ce genre au Maroc. La Villa Maroc est un “Hôtel de charme” ou “Boutique-Hotel” . Situation Elle est située juste derrière les remparts, à 2 minutes de la mer. 4 maisons du 18ème siècle ont été réunis et restaurées d’après les règles d’architecture arabo-andalouse et les traditions d’Essaouira. La Villa Maroc est à l’image d’ Essaouira: bleu et blanc, esthétique dans la simplicité, petite et familière. Elle est aménagée et décorée avec du style et du goût avec de l’artisanat local, des antiquités et des peintures d’artistes locaux et internationaux. Grâce à ces quatre maisons rassemblées Villa Maroc a su garder l’ambiance d’une grande maison privée, nos clients se sentent chez eux. Notre nouveau “espace bien-être oriental” avec hammam, massage et soins de beauté oriental a été créé pour satisfaire encore de plus les exigences de nos clients pour un séjour relaxant et dépaysant. Sur notre terrasse avec une vue splendide sur le port et la baie vous pouvez prendre votre petit déjeuner en profitant de la vue, prendre un bain de soleil, ou juste lire et regarder les vagues de l’océan. La villa Maroc dispose de plusieurs salons agréables et “cosy”, en partie avec cheminée, pour rester, lire, déguster un vin de notre région et prendre un dîner aux chandelles prés d’un coin cheminée. Pour garder l’ambiance maison et l’intimité de chaque un vous ne trouverez pas de plus de trois tables par salon. Notre cuisine est une cuisine marocaine traditionnelle, comme les femmes d’Essaouira la font chez eux avec beaucoup de passion et d’amour. Pour satisfaire les exigences de nos clients, nous utilisons les légumes de notre ferme avec notre production d’huile d’argan et l’huile d’olive. Nos confitures et yaourts sont fait maison. Notre cuisine est fraîche, saine et équilibré. Le menu change chaque jours et ne se répète pas pendant 15 jours. The Villa Maroc is a “Hotel de charme” or “Boutique-hotel”. Location
It is situated just inside the ramparts of the town and is two minutes from the sea.
Four 18th century houses have been inter-connected and restored in arabo-andalusian style in keeping with the traditions of Essaouira.
The Villa Maroc reflects the architecture and colours of Essaouira: blue and white paintwork and the aesthetics of comfort and simplicity. It has been furnished and decorated with style and taste using local artisans, antiques and the paintings of both local and international artists.
Thanks to the linking up of its four houses, the Villa Maroc has retained the atmosphere of a large private house, where clients do not feel themselves to be in a hotel nor among a throng of other people.
Our “Oriental spa”, providing our clients with even more comfort and services, include a hamman, massage and beauty parlours. Our aim is to offer our clientele a welcome change of surroundings as well as a stress-free and relaxing holiday.
Breakfast can be taken on our roof terrace overlooking the picturesque port and magnificent bay. Many of our clients find themselves a secluded corner of the terrace to bask in the sun, read or just enjoy the view.
The Villa Maroc has several comfortable and cosy lounges some with open log-fires where one can sit and read, have a drink, or enjoy candle-lit dinners. We do not have more than three tables in each lounge in order to retain the intimate and warm ambiance, which exists throughout the hotel.
We serve traditional Moroccan cuisine, just like the women of Essaouira make at home with devotion and care. In considering the palettes of our foreign clients we cook with low-fat ingredients. Our olive oil and many of our vegetables are our own produce and our jams and yoghurts are made on the premises. Our cuisine is freshly made, healthy and balanced. The menu changes daily and is not repeated in less than a 15 day period. We aim to initiate our
clients with the best of Moroccan cooking and inspire them with our specialities.
